Let's talk about making money and buiding a fortune!
Is it getting a great college degree?
Nope! I can show you a ton of incredibly wealthy and highly successful people (I'm talking literal billionaires) who don't have a college degree of any kind. And I can show you a ton of college educated people, with their terminal degrees that are making somewhere around $20,000-30,000 a year.
Jim Rohn had one of my all time greatest thoughts on this subject when he said, "higher education can help you earn a living, but self-education can make you a fortune."
So, what is it that allows you to really get rich, to really earn the income that you truly desire whether it's six figures, seven figures, eight figures or what ever?
Very simple, and it's a law that the entire universe is based on.
The universe is based on a simple law concerning value. The more value you provide, the more it comes back to you.
Do you want to earn more money?
Provide more value to your fellow humans. Over-deliver to your customers. Provide more in general.
You'll get more back in spades.
The more value that you provide, the more value you'll receive back.
It's as simple as that.

Find Your Success
Have you ever thought of that?
Is it having a ton of money?
Is it having a fancy car?
Is it being happy and at peace?
Is it being respected?
Is it having kids and a family?
What exactly does success mean to you?
For everyone, it's going to mean a different thing.
For me, I couldn't care less about having a house, a fancy car or having kids. Not that I don't like those things. They're just not a priority to me. For me, being happy and having peace as well as having freedom is what success means. I also enjoy the game of money and business and I know that money is a key to freedom, so that's part of success to me as well.
But, what does it mean to you? Only you can answer that. And, as soon as you do, you'll be one step closer to achieving the success that you dream about.
Now, go create your greatness.

Why you should aim high!
The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark. Michelangelo
This has always been one of my favorite quotes, and I find it so true.
I've always believed that your dreams and goals should be bigger than you are. That you should truly reach for the stars with everything.
After all, even if you miss the stars, you'll still hit the moon and you'll be millions of miles further than those that tried to "be realistic" and stayed on earth.
I remember when I first started to compete in Ballroom and Latin Dancesport. I made the goal to become a National Champion. Everyone tried to tell me not to aim that high, that it was so hard to do and that I'd just fail.
By the time that I retired from professional competition I hadn't become a National Champion. But, I had become a 3 time United States Finalist, was in the top 5 in the nation for 3 years in a row, had been successful in the World Championships, had won numerous competitions around the country, and had been successful in 4 separate divisions.
The people that told me to "be realistic" never even competed.
And the same has been true in all areas of my life. From business, to money making, to teaching and coaching, to the martial arts, to fitness, to dance, to just about everything. Many people told me to not follow my dreams, that I'd be shooting to high. Then I took my high shot and accomplished great things while those others did nothing and accomplished nothing.
So, do yourself a favor. Always aim high. Screw the haters, they're just jealous that they don't have the courage that you do. Go after and create the life of your dreams. You can do it.

How to make more money right now!
If you want to know the one secret to making more money, keep on reading because I'm going to share it with you right now:
Are you ready?
Alright, provide more value to the world.
Our world works on a value for value trade (whether it's true value or perceived value), therefore if you start creating more value for people, start really over-delivering on everything that you do, there is no way in the universe that you will not be rewarded with more value back.
It's a simple natural law of the universe.
Now, depending on your value system, you may be rewarded mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically or financially. But, you will be rewarded no matter what.
And, in my experiences at least, you'll be rewarded in greater parts.
So, you want to make more money?
Add more value. Become a better employee. Work smarter and harder. Be more productive. And really truly kick ass at what you're doing. The universe is waiting to reward you with what you want.

Let's Talk Success
"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours."-- Henry David Thoreau
I always really loved this quote. To me it really is the definition of success.
When we boil it down, we all have different definitions for what we believe success is. If some young man or woman has always wanted to be a house husband or house wife and they are now doing just that, loving every minute of it, and doing an incredible job at it. They are a success.
If someone has wanted to get themselves out of the rat race and really kick butt in life, creating a life that they want, not what others want. And they're currently doing just that, loving it, and being awesome at it. They are a success.
If someone is an athlete and their goal isn't necessarily winning the big one, but instead having a long and amazing career that allowed them to grow into the person they wanted to become; and that's what they're doing. That person is a success.
Success comes in many different ways. For some it's having a stable job, for others it's creating their own businesses and taking risks. For some it's having children, for others it's not. For some it's being rich beyond their wildest dreams, for other's, they couldn't care less.
The key is knowing what you're definition of success is, and then taking the actions that you need to create the life of your dreams. Regardless of what anyone else thinks, believes, feels or says.
As Thoreau says in the definition above, if you advance confidently in the direction of YOUR dreams and endeavor to live the life which YOU have imagined; that's when you'll meet YOUR success.
It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. It's not between you and them. It's all about what your hopes and dreams are.
